From Heather (our cleaning lady) …

From the moment I met Margaret, in 1990, I knew I would be happy within her family unit. She made me so welcome with her warm and kind nature which, over the past 17 years, I’ve found to be typical of her. I feel very privileged to have known Margaret and to have been a part of her life. These past months have been very difficult.  I said I was there for her and I hope she drew some comfort from our many chats together.

Through her strength and dignity she helped me come to terms with her illness even though she must have been struggling to come to terms with it herself, but that was Margaret: thinking of others before herself. I can honestly say that Margaret has left behind so many happy memories, not only for me, but for everyone here today.  She was a very special person and my very dear friend, and I will miss her terribly.
