Dec 2nd on Sat night Strong German Air forces formations attacked the harbour of Southampton in successe Waves.  as already reported. bombs of the heaviest Calibre were dropped & more than 60 large fires as well as numerous smaller fires Could be observed Which during the night became. one extensive sea of flames  a large power works was hit and numerous warehouses were set on fire in the Quays on the test and in other parts of the harbour area   during the same night and yesterday German heavy & light bombers dropped bombs in London.  otherwise the daylight activity of the German air force. was restricted to reconnaissance flights and fighter action during t he course of which a series of successful aerial combats developed.  last night the attacks. on Southampton and other towns were continued whilst again the R.A.F. did not go into action only early this morning a few planes. which flew into Germany via the North Sea dropped bombs on Residential Quarters in a town in a coastal district  several civilians were injured  German fighter shot down Eleven enemy planes over Southern England.  two German planes are missing.
